The Model 2000e Heated/Cooled Shelf Oven reflects SSEC’s 42 years’ experience in hermetic package sealing, including advances in the yield-critical process of moisture removal. This oven utilizes SSEC’s proprietary optimal control technique software, which enables the heated shelves to rise to full temperature within minutes without overshoot. This makes the heated shelves effective for active, controlled conduction heating, regardless of atmospheric conditions.
Each oven shelf is configured for both heating and cooling, shortening the cycle time and improving the process control compared to radiation heating systems. Model 2000e ovens may be built with one to four active shelves, with a heated top plate.

SSEC’s environmental systems are completely PC controlled, including internal atmosphere, for inert gases such as nitrogen, argon, and helium.  Control is to the PPM level for moisture and oxygen, as required.  Programmable atmosphere conditions and data tracking complement the effective moisture removal processing in the Model 2000e Heated/Cooled Shelf Oven.
SSEC environmental systems are modular and may be configured with up to five Model 2000e Heated/Cooled Shelf Ovens.  Standard conveyor systems are available.
